Life skills covers topics like loose-leash walking, recall, settling in public spaces, engagement around distractions, and good behaviour at home. If your dog doesn't struggle with fear or aggression, then life skills will have you covered! 

Life Skills training empowers both you and your dog with the skills they need to navigate life with both confidence and competence. Using force-free, positive reinforcement techniques, I'll coach you and your dog so you can get to where you want to be. I will support you in having a strong bond based on mutual respect and understanding, all while you and your dog learn how to work together as a team towards your training goals.

During our first session together, we will design a customized training plan and practice key skills so you can move forward with confidence. Follow-up sessions will have us advancing their skillset, troubleshooting any challenges along the way, and adding in new desirable skills as deemed appropriate.

• Customized, interactive training plan delivered 7 days after the initial session

• 3 x 30 minute follow ups OR a modified follow up plan to suit your needs

• Optional weekly checkpoint meetings online to troubleshoot any challenges and ensure progress between training sessions

• Additional follow-ups at reduced rates
  

If you'd like to do a mixture of at-location, in-home, and/or online training, let me know and I will design a custom package based on your needs. 

Sessions can be anywhere from 1-4 weeks apart depending on your needs. We will discuss this during booking. 

Pricing

All sessions online: $500

Sessions in-home/at-location: $550 + travel per session (invoiced separately)

Sessions in-person at Heathcote Valley Community Centre (Friday evenings or Saturday mornings): $625

NOTE: Discounted optional extras for your package can be found below. These can be booked alongside your package, or afterwards. Rescue dogs are eligible for discounts on all services for life. If this applies, let us know in your enquiry if you have adopted a dog to claim your discount.
